Last month Hydrex and Subsea Industries continued their active presence in the global maritime and offshore sector by participating in two important industry events in Asia: Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) in Singapore and OTC Asia in Kuala Lumpur. These exhibitions once again provided excellent opportunities to meet customers, partners and industry professionals from around the world and to discuss the latest developments in ship repair, underwater technology and maritime innovation.
APM Singapore, held at Marina Bay Sands from March 25 until March 27, brought together 20,000 maritime professionals and over 800 exhibitors from across the globe. The event is widely recognized as one of Asia’s leading maritime exhibitions and conferences for the shipbuilding, offshore, workboat and marine industries. This year’s edition focused strongly on the future of vessels, decarbonization, digitalization and next-generation maritime technologies.
Hydrex welcomed visitors at their booth in the the Netherlands pavilion which we shared with other leading maritime companies. Throughout the three-day exhibition, the Hydrex and Subsea Industries representatives had many productive meetings with shipowners, technical managers, offshore operators and other maritime professionals interested in the companies’ worldwide underwater repair, maintenance and protective coatings solutions.
The exhibition provided an ideal setting to discuss the growing importance of minimizing vessel downtime and carrying out permanent underwater repairs while ships remain operational. Visitors also showed strong interest in the extensive range of Subsea Industries corrosion protection and performance coating solutions.
Only a few days later, the focus shifted to Kuala Lumpur, where the OTC Asia event was held from March 31 until April 2. OTC Asia is one of the region’s major offshore energy events, bringing together professionals from the offshore oil, gas and energy sectors to exchange knowledge and explore new technologies and operational solutions.
Hydrex and Subsea Industries were again present as part of the Netherlands pavilion. The exhibition attracted a large number of offshore specialists and technical experts looking for reliable underwater repair and maintenance solutions and high performance marine coatings for offshore units, drilling assets, support vessels and other marine infrastructure.
Both exhibitions proved to be highly successful for Hydrex and Subsea Industries. In addition to reconnecting with many existing clients and partners, the companies also established numerous new contacts and discussed future cooperation opportunities throughout the Asian maritime and offshore markets.
The busy exhibition schedule continues in the coming months, with Hydrex and Subsea Industries also attending Posidonia, one of the world’s most prestigious international shipping exhibitions. At the time of writing both companies are also participating in OTC Houston, the leading offshore energy event in the United States.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our booths during APM and OTC Asia. We greatly appreciated the many interesting conversations and look forward to continuing our cooperation with both existing and new contacts in the future.
