Hydrex and Subsea Industries at Europort 2025

Hydrex and Subsea Industries at Europort 2025

Last Month Subsea Industries and Hydrex took part in Europort 2025 in Rotterdam, together with 1,100 other exhibitors and 13 national pavilions. This year’s event was attended by 23,000 trade visitors from 87 countries, making it one of the world’s largest maritime B2B platforms for networking and knowledge exchange.

Europort’s official website outlines the key events: “Europort officially opened on Tuesday 4 November during an energetic Opening Summit that drew parallels between the turbulent 1920s and today, encouraging industry to find creative ways to navigate the challenges of our age. In an inspiring keynote, Marja van Bijsterveldt, Special Envoy for the Dutch Maritime Industry highlighted the power of reinvention, as part of a session which set the tone for the collaboration and innovation that would take center stage in the week ahead.

“The importance of collaboration was a recurring theme throughout. During an exhibition visit, Dutch caretaker Minister for Infrastructure and Water Management, Robert Tieman, praised the event’s scale and role in connecting global maritime stakeholders. The Minister also emphasized the role of governments in fostering conditions where businesses can thrive while maintaining focus on sustainability goals.” [1]

With a design full of humorous nods to masterpieces of the past, the Hydrex/Subsea Industries booth was a popular spot. Representatives of both companies were ready to give detailed information and knowledgeable advice to visitors.

Many existing customers, Subsea Industries and Hydrex agents, technical people from all phases of shipbuilding and many interested newcomers to Subsea Industries and Hydrex dropped by to enjoy the friendly, comfortable but businesslike and informative atmosphere. Many more stopped to take in the artistic aspect of the booth and take pictures.
